Building an inexpensive and durable feral cat shelter

The shelter shown here was built using plans available from Alley Cat Allies. Below are some of the materials and tools you will need. You'll also need posts, roofing shingles, foundation blocks, a power drill, and a thin 4x8 sheet or panel for the interior walls. The level is not strictly necessary, but makes a good straight edge. You may find that a circular saw is preferable to the saber saw pictured here. The plywood is marked off for cutting according to the plans.

If you have any questions or comments about this slideshow or the construction, email the builder.
