Perfect
Puppies & Cuddly Kittens
Although we do not have a shelter or actively
take in stray pets, we do occasionally have cats and dogs for adoption
because of special circumstances. If you want more information on
any of the pets pictured on these pages, contact the foster family
directly and give one of these furry ones a cute name of your own!
Orange Zen (Lexx)
A
rare orange tabby female (we guestimate that 90% of orange tabbies
are males!). She came from a feral litter but loves living with
people. Adoptive parents Ken and Sarah say that she is a complete
sweetie now, although she favors Greta Garbo when the photographer
shows up. She doesn't like to have her picture taken! She is "tame,
affectionate and personable" and gets along well with other
cats and some dogs. She does still startle at loud noises or sudden
movements. An adjustment period is expected until Lexx becomes familiar
with her new surroundings - so some patience may be required. We
think the best home for Lexx would be one with other young cats,
no dogs and no very young children. This special cat is skittish
about new things and places because of her traumatic early life
experiences, but once she relaxes you couldn't ask for a sweeter
cat.
Please contact Ken or Sarah at [email protected]
or call PAWS at (706) 310-0663.
